I'm a cinematographer and filmmaker based in Prague, working internationally across documentary, narrative, and commercial projects.

I studied filmmaking at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts and FAMU in Prague, but some of my most formative education happened in the field. Over a decade working in national television news, including as a producer for NBC News, took me across the United States and beyond, chasing stories, navigating unpredictable situations, and learning to make creative decisions under pressure.

In 2021, I traded New York's skyscrapers for Prague's towers and spires. These days, I work between Europe and the United States, remotely, and wherever else a good project might take me.

Beyond cinematography, I work as a documentary editor and occasionally put down the camera to step inside the DJ booth as NISAN.
